Miss Jordan's Science Class
Welcome to 6th Grade Earth Science!
This class webpage is designed to provide a place for students to find and submit assignments, have access to additional resources, and participate in discussions with their classmates.
6th grade science is a yearlong course that aligns to the Next Generation Science Standards.
In this class, students will use inquiry-based learning in labs, activities, and projects.
Students will learn about the scientific method, where they will participate in scientific investigations and answer questions about hypotheses, variables, procedure, analyze data, and write a conclusion.
The solar system and space will be studied along with the basics of Earth Science. We will explore, learn, and complete labs/demonstrations on the following topics:
